Establishment
Established in 2006 in Bangkok, Thailand, Herba Bangkok S.L. initially focused on sourcing and procuring rice from Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Laos as the regional headquarters for Herba Rice Mills in Southeast Asia, operating as an integral part of the Ebro Foods Group.
Today, it stands as a leading agribusiness in Thailand and is renowned as one of Southeast Asia's largest processors and distributors of branded and private-label rice products, specializing in jasmine and white rice.
Company Milestones
Herba Bangkoks key milestones include the acquisition of the manufacturing facility in the Nong Khae Industrial Estate in 2007, followed by significant renovations and expansions from 2007 to 2010 and from 2020 to 2023.
Additionally, a second rice processing facility was inaugurated in Cambodia in 2016, located near Phnom Penh.
Further enhancements took place with the upgrade of the head office in Bangkok in 2019 and the diversification of the operations department.
The establishment of an International Trading Center for Southeast Asia in 2020 enabled Herba Bangkok to engage both in exporting rice to Ebro affiliates worldwide and importing Ebro-branded food products into the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on ASEAN markets.
